A SSR-Hybrid T56, born from the ls1tech forum thread:

Direct replacement for LS F-body T56 (except stock u-joint)
Gear ratio is MM6 (same as F-body) from a 2002 Corvette T56
Triple-cone synchro design
2pc countershaft/extension shaft
Billet/solid synchro keys on all 6 forward gears
Bronze shift fork pads on all 4 shift forks
Steel 3/4 shift fork
New F-body tail housing
New revised front plate
New SSR 32-spline mainshaft
17-tooth VSS (same as F-body)
Zero miles since rebuild
Performance shimming specs
Includes spicer TH400/SSR 32-spline 1350 u-joint slip-yoke

Is the stock LS2 in a CTS-V, or what vehicle? The CTS-V vehicle has a different shifting and driveshaft attachement method than the F-body. If you have the LS2 in a Fbody or other RWD vehicle, it should work.
