This thing works great. I purchased it new about 2 years ago. I sent it to them to be freshened up about a year ago. It has saved me countless times. It will warn you 3 or 4 miles before you see the cop and it hardly ever false alarms. I am selling because my girlfriend purchased a 9500IX for me for my birthday. I would like to get 200 shipped for the radar detector.

Good product. I own two of these and they saved my *** a bunch of times. Escort just came out with a slick navi system with imbedded radar detection.

Yes, it has saved me many times. What's nice about the Escort radar detectors is that when they go off you know there is a cop around, they don't false alarm much at all.
