How much boost was that? Is the YSI too big to work well with a stock engine? I have a buddy that may be interested, but he could probably only safely run about 8lbs.

This setup is ment to run about 13-15psi w/ the regular belt and about 16-18 with the cog setup.

However the boost could be controlled with a boost controller / wastegate. I think its a little over-kill for a stock motor. But if he is planning on eventually going with a built motor... doing a boost controller / wastegate would allow him to use a bigger SC until he builds a motor ready for serious boost.

Interesting reading for centrifugal superchargers w/ wastegate... http://www.musclemustangfastfords.co...all/index.html

That was with the cog set-up about 16psi. The person tuning it was, "too busy to be bothered"... so he slapped a tune on it, dynoed it and called it good.

I had a buddy of mine help me with the tune after... but never re-dynoed. The car felt and ran much better... but it never saw another dyno. I was pretty irritated that i had spent money on a dyno tune and got what i got... but thats shops in vegas for ya. Couldnt justify doing it again.

What are the upper and lower cog pulley sizes you are running? I would have thought you would push 800+ my v1 put down 662rwhp. Any plans of separating the kit yet?

SC is still pending...
Cage is SOLD...

Sorry. Not looking to seperate yet.

As far as the size of pullies, the cog its ~2 3/4" on the SC, ~7 1/2" on the crank. If that means something to you... haha.

I have too many projects and have grown bored with this one. With the extremely low miles on this car, the car its worth as much as a 10 sec car as it is completely stock. You do the math!

Yes it actually does You said you have the belt setup and the cog setup both would you sell just the cog setup with the tensioners. I have a YSI now with the rmcr kit and am getting ready to put it on my car in the next month or two. If you decide to separate of course.
