The colder plug will help prevent detonation. These NGK V-Power spark plugs offer economical performance for nearly any automotive application, and are the only plugs with NGK's V-Groove technology. I bought these for my 99 Trans Am & never used them. I am not sure if they fit other vehicles, check the manufacturer for other applications.
