Need a transmission to hold up to tons of power and abuse? Building up a T-56 will help, but most of what is done to the transmissions doesn’t increase its ability to handle abuse and power. A full blown T-56 will include a 9310 main shaft, billet keys, new synchros, bronze fork pads etc. The only thing that increases the power and abuse handling ability is the main shaft. How about a transmission with a larger, 30 spline shaft, 15% larger gears, both made of better, stronger 4315 steel. Add larger bearings, no keys to break in the shifting mechanism, a fluid circulation pump that will cool and return fluid to the front to help prevent starvation of the cluster while under heavy acceleration. That’s what you will get with the TR6060. Bolt up a super strong Differential case with an 8-3/4” ring gear and better shafts and improved clutches and you have yourself an incredible package. I have a 2008 Z06 TR6060 (aka T6060 ) with only 8,000 miles, differential, cradle, lower control arms, sway bar with mounts and links and spring. This is all you need from the C6Z to convert your C5. (You will need a few other parts to complete the transformation.) Everyone that gets in my car and shifts my transmission can’t believe how incredibly smooth it shifts.
You will get everything you need from the 08Z to convert your car and it will come with a 90 day warranty.
Everything else you'll need is aftermarket. I will help the buyer get the parts needed and will provide tech support including pictures. This is not a difficult job and will be well worth the effort and investment.

I have sold a few of these to forum members and can provide references.

Questions i've been asked quite a few times is "what else is needed?"
and "How hard is it to install these?"

What's needed: 1 set of Pfadt offset adapters for 300.00 from RPM transmission.
Optional coolers (my diff cooler was 68.00 and trans cooler 200.00)

Lines/hose, clamps and fittings to connect to the diff and trans. That can cost as low as 30.00

Normal fluids.


How difficult is it to install?: if you're capable of performing the R&R on your stock transmission, I can get you through this installation without question. I have pictures taken during my installs and will draw some if I have to. It can be done in a day by any reasonably good wrench. I will share those pictures and have plenty of rollover minutes on my phone. Many members will tell you I've spoken with them on the phone for an hour just to help them out with a random issue. I have thousands of rollover minutes ready.
