I replaced 2nd 3rd and 5th gear in my MN12 GTO trans, I understand these are common with the vette gears as well. The gear interfaces are perfect, I replaced them because the small teeth that the sliders engage were a little ball nosed. These little teeth are what get machined off and replaced when face-plating, so these are perfect candidate for a face-plate conversion if you want to leave your stuff together while Liberty is doing the mod.
