Anyone looking for a blown shortblock? If so, I have 1. I bought a black 00 z28 about a month ago and he said the spring broke. I brought it home and tore it down and ended up being hell of a lot more. What a ******, right? Anyways, the valve fell and blew thru the piston. Its perfect for someone trying to build a motor on the stand. Im asking $550.

Also, I have the heads. They are MTI stage 2.5 5.3s with a 706 casting on them. As said before, the valve blew thru. They are complete (-)the bad spring and the components with that spring. The springs are 918s and I do not know the valve brand. I took them to Don @ Motor Machine here in Sac and he said 450-500 would bring them back. I forgot to have him get the cc specs but he said they are a really nice set of heads. Im asking $350

I also have the matching MTI R1 cam. The cam specs are 232/236 .571/.578 @114 lsa. I have looked it up and it has very good feedback. If it doesnt sell, I might even use it. Im asking $275.

yeah i did. My cousin had a spring break on his ls6 head and it was fine. He had to replace the spring lock and retainer and it was fine.
