Default pistons

Which heads you was planning to use and what compression ratio will have with them (size of the cobustion chambers)?

With these pistons and a set of stock 317 heads compression ratio comes out to 9.2 this will vary slightly depending on the thickness of your head gaskets. I think that calculation was with a 54 thousandths gasket

Then it should be somewhere around 10.1 compression if my math is right. the thinner stock gasket would probably push it up close to 10.5ish and a thicker gasket could get it back down into the 9s

Bump for a good deal. All the compression ratio question askers should GTFO and learn how to do their own compression math using guides in the Gen III Internal forum here on Tech - you're gonna have to anyways if you are serious about building a forged motor that works right.
