A member on here who had the car tried to get the title but I guess it didn't happen. I spoke to the DMV in California and they told me it shouldn't be a problem yet it is. The title wasn't issued because of emissions but since the car is now in Illinois it shouldn't matter. I wish I had the title because it's a cool car but **** happens
I did a little bit of research after I sold you guys the car...In Illinois, you have to pay a certain amount to obtain a surety bond which is approximately to 2x what the KBB of the car is....which is insane...and that is just to get the title itself...
It is a cool car...just too cool to be sitting there and not get used what it was meant for...

Im confused. Is the car paid off? If so why cant you get the title? Who actually has the title?

Ok, car came from Cali. From member qnitro who bought it from a tow yard. He sold to artrenee here in il. I bought it from artrenee last year. I spoke to Cali DMV about title and it was not issued to qnitro because of emissions. I sent the paerwork back to qnitro in Cali and he tried to get me the title but appearently no dice. I have too many cars and no more space so it's being parted, which is a shame but that's how it goes

if the wheels and tires dont sell soon, im just going to have the bubbling fixed and keep them as an extra set for one of my other cars. Really don't want to seperate them . thanks
