New LS1 LS2 LSX F-body Adjustable Belt Tensioner. Replace your worn out stock sping-loaded tensioner with a high quality adjustable belt tensioner. Belt tension is easily adjusted (with the engine stopped of course) with a 3/8 rachet or breaker bar and a box wrench. Eliminates thrown belts on cars with higher than stock rev limiter settings, and underdrive pulleys.
Fits 1998 - 2002 LS1 F bodys (Chevy Camaro, Camaro SS, Pontiac Trans-am and Firebirds). Also fits 2004 - 2006 LS1 and LS2 Pontiac GTO's.
Made in USA out of 6061-T6 Aluminum and Black Anodized for long life. Hardware is included except for the bolts that mount the tensioner to the engine, the stock bolts are re-used.
Stock Diameter 6 Rib Pulley is also included which features higher sidewalls for better belt retention. The pulley also has a replacable bearing. The pulley is made in USA out of 6061-T6 Aluminum and Clear Anodized for long life.
