Just an idea though.. Trust me I was against using wheels spacers, until I found out porche uses them from the factory and alot of guy's use them on their 22.5 wheel conversions on big lifted 1ton diesels.. So I think they will handle plenty of abuse for you guess that don't like it being narrower than stock length.

Great deal, I wish I would have kept mine stock mustang length instead of swapping of 10 bolt tubes. A lot easier to find 15x10 wheels with a 5.5 backspacing instead of 7.5 backspacing. Plus mustang brakes clear 15s with ease! Plus wheels with less backspacing look better IMO. Good luck with sale, for 700 bucks thats a steal if I ever saw one.

I really want this but I dont have the cash yet, I just got a rear that wasnt bent or have spun axle tubes because I needed the auburn unit since my torsen t2 busted, I put my 3.42's on the auburn and into the housing I bought since it was in gr8 shape and I welded the tubes, still need girdle, trq arm ect. and I am just saving for 8.8 build instead but im selling a set of motive 4.10's and soon as I find a cheap LSD like gov loc im throwing that in the old housing with my gm 4.10s and my other axles/backing plates and selling it complete for $400obo if im lucky and then I can give you $700 cash for ur 8.8 but it might be 2 weeks away....Could I just find 2 of the explorer 8.8s and take the long side axle/tube/disk brakes off them and fit them to your housing after taking your tubes out? If you welded them I can still get them out with no harm to the center section.

I believe it is 2 inches per side, not my axle but thats what the stock mustang length ends up being. Can't believe this hasn't sold yet, 2 inches narrower on each side just means you would need 15x10 wheels with a 5.5 backspacing instead of 7.5 backspacing. And 5.5 backspacing is a LOT easier to find than 7.5, GLWS
