Arrow LS2 402 stroker short block - Billet crank and rods, Coated bearings, Diamond Pistons

Category: Engine - Complete Motors
Price: $5300
Part Fits: 93-02 Chevrolet Camaro, 93-02 Pontiac Firebird, Corvette, 04-06 Pontiac GTO, 04+ Cadillac CTS-V
Location (State): PA
Item Condition: Brand New
Engine: LS2/LS3/LS7/L92/LS9
LS Engine?: Fits LS Engine

I built this motor to use in my 1997 WS6 Trans Am this year, but I ended up selling my car and all my street car stuff and got a race car. This is a very nice, high end, QUALITY short block. Would cost over 7k to duplicate. The engine currently has a 24 tooth reluctor wheel, but I do have the tool required to change it to the 58 tooth if necessary.

-Brand new LS2 block - decked, align honed, cylinders honed .005 over to piston size, ARP main studs

-HTC (Hank the Crank) lightweight billet crankshaft, digitally balanced. This crank weighs in at a mere 48.8lbs. That is 6.2lbs lighter than the Eagle forged crank that I ran in my old 408!!! You cannot buy these cranks anymore. They were rated at 2,000 horsepower and cost $2,000 new

-Howards 6.125 billet connecting rods

-Diamond forged pistons, 2cc valve reliefs

-Total Seal plasma moly file fit rings

-Clevite/Calico coated main and rod bearings

-Durabond/Calico coated cam bearings

Main bearing clearance - .002"
Rod bearing clearance - .002"
Endplay - .003"
Top ring gap - .025"
Second ring gap - .020"

This motor was built as a street/strip motor. It will use straight 30 weight oil. The rings are gapped to handle up to 300hp worth of nitrous if desired, with having a good tune up of course. This motor would easily spin 8k with the proper oiling system. Balance card and paperwork for rods and pistons will be included.

I am asking $5,600 OBO for the short block. Will come with rear, front, and valley covers. No cam shaft, timing set, or oil pump. For not much more than an iron motor with Eagle or Compstar components, you get an aluminum block, billet crank and rods, and coated bearings. This is a very good deal IMHO.

Seriously inquiries only please. I would be glad to talk on the phone if you PM your number.

Dan

For less than $1,000 more than the cost of a run of the mill 408, you get an aluminum block, a billet crank shaft, billet rods, and coated bearings. This is a DEAL!

You could buy it, change the pistons, and still come out way ahead!

I am getting a lot of response and putting in time talking to people who then tell me after a 20 minute phone conversation that they don't have the money, but will give me a call if they get it. Not being rude, but please don't waste my time if you can't afford the motor. Thanks
