This cam was originally purchased for my GTO that had headers and exhaust. Below is a quote from the conversation I had with Patrick G about it.
"That's a really good cam and it will work well with your stock GTO motor, however, I would highly recommend that you purchase a fresh timing set (one with an adjustable keyway) and install this cam with 4 degrees of advance in it. If you don't advance the cam, it will be softer in torque in the low and mid-range, but will scream above 6000 rpm. Adding 4 degrees of advance will build dynamic compression and make more power from idle to 6000 rpm.
You should see a 45-50rwhp gain over where you are now after it's tuned."
