Ive got a 406 sbc, that i built and had in my truck, i bought a newer truck so i pulled this out to sell. its a 2 bolt main 400 bored 0.30 over crank is ground 0.10r,0.10m, it has main studs. sfi balancer, bushed 5.7 4340 forged rods with arp capscrews, speed pro floating flattop pistons 10.9:1 cr with 64cc heads. aftermarket protopline 220cc intake runners 2.02 1.65 manley valves. dual springs with damper. good to .550 lift. 7/16 screw in studs with guideplates and stainless steel roller rockers and poly locks. it has a crane cams hydralic flat tappet cam,
{Good mid range torque, good to fair idle, daily performance usage, mild bracket racing, auto trans w/stock to 2500 converter, 2700-3200 cruise RPM, 9.5 to 10.75 compression ratio advised}
0.467 i,e lift 222 duration at 0.50 278 advertised.
it worked great in the truck. it has the new design stealth intake that has been PORT matched to the heads NOT gasket matched. has clevitte bearings throughout, felpro gaskets, melling oil pump. i can give you your choice of carburator, all 750cfm, holley or eldbrock. ive had both on it the holley had more power but the eldbrock drove better on the street. plus got bette mpg.
