Okay, so here's the deal...i tried to sell my g5x3 cam on a 112, a few months back and had a lot of interest from guys. A member on this board bought the cam while it was still in my motor so there was no way of knowing the condition of the cam. Long story short, there was a small scratch on one of the lobes and the cam had to be repaired...member got his money refunded.

Cam was sent to compcams for repair and these are the original specs of the cam that they found.

Email from compcams:
Your cams duration at .050 is 237.26/245.05 Lobe lift is .3496/.3560 If you had us fix the cam it would be as close as possible to Duration at .050 236/244 Lobe Lift .354/.360 Or Duration at .050 238/246 Lobe lift .356/.361 Don’t forget, there is a tolerance of allowable specs so they may vary slightly from what I just listed as your 2 most similar options. To get the lift at the valve multiply your lobe lift by your rocker ratio. Thanks

So, for guys that are interested, multiply your rocker ratio (1.7 (stock) or 1.8) and you will find out the lift that the cam can be cut to. With 1.7 rockers the duration can be 236/244 with .601/.612 lift or 238/246 with .605/.613 lift. You have a choice of having the cam slightly bigger or slightly smaller than it's original size...your choice! I personally think that the first specs are as close to the specs that guys have posted for the g5x3, which is 236/242 duration @ .600/.610 lift.

Thank you sir, i appreciate the kind words! Guys, I would re-use this cam in a heartbeat but it's just to small for my next build. My next build will be a ls3 based 416 or 427. I am only gonna make $150ish off of the sale because the other half will go towards repair fees from comp, shipping and paypal fees. YES, I AM SELLING IT FOR $335 SHIPPED AND COVERING PAYPAL FEES!
