Put me in line just in case, but is that also considered the "BCM-Brake Control Module?" Let me know.
Ive got the ASR, Emergency Brake, and ABS Inop light coming on every time I drive, and I've been told that this is possibly the culprit.

One more thing. I have seen something about having 3 channel, or 4 channel traction control. I guess 3 channel is not considered traction control, and 4 channel is. I have an actual traction control button. What is yours?

The BCM is actually a Body Control Module, and it controls a variety of functions on your car from your starter and brakes, to your power windows. Ive never had the problem youre having so Im not sure what it could be. The only 2 option are ABS module and BCM.

What are people talking about when they say a Brake Control Module then? I'm getting a little lost with all these modules. lol What is this considered that you are selling here? Because I thought the black thing on the front of the aluminum block was a module.

So, is this considered the EBCM, or Electronic Brake Control Module? He listed this as ABS Module, but then he must mentioned just the ABS Block in the posting. Are you selling it with the EBCM, if that is indeed what that black part is on the aluminum block. Can someone verify that this is the EBCM???? Seems like theres modules everywhere.

If it truely comes with the module(black box on side of aluminum block) and you are saying you had no lights on your dash, as well as it being from a car with traction control, then I'll take it. I do need it. Let me know.

I have one last quick question. Are you selling it with the EBCM, if that is indeed what that black part is on the aluminum block? And you had NO lights on the dash when this was on the car(ABS lights, Brake lights, ASR lights?) And what year car did this come off of? The car DID have traction control (4 channel?) Have to make 100% sure real fast before I send the money. Let me know asap.

If the brain(black box) is bad, then you only have to swap them out. You don't have to switch the entire module.
I just went through this on my 2000 Z28, I used the brain off my 2002 TA and it works fine
