I'm sure I have them, I don't doubt that. I just don't know where I put 'em. If I lived closer to the shop you bet I'd be looking for them right now, but alas I do not.

^haha since when has summit racing given free bj's haha you must be a good customer.

For real tho, I bought a typhoon intake awhile back, guy told me his uncle stole it after I sent him payment. He said he would refund my money immediately, although scarred I gave him a chance. He refunded it that night.

DH owned up and is being honest about it being lost etc, now own up and admit you jumped the gun alittle on this. Should have given him a chance firsf.

I agree DH did nothing wrong and when he determined he could not find the part, he offered a refund!

I have offered stuff I had sitting for sale, took pictures and then stored it away and out the way... there are times I cant remember where I put the stuff and if I was SURE I had it and the amount was insignificant there would be no reason for me to sale it...

if I couldn't find it, then I would've done the same thing DH did and tell you I have to go find the stuff, or refund you your money, no harm done!

and the fact that he has good communication should tell you something, a scam artist disappears off the face of the earth...

Someone who has never lost a part they just had a few days ago doesn't do cars seriously. Being far away from your shop would just make that 100x worse.

This guy wouldn't have survived on the internet back in the day when it wasn't out of the ordinary to receive parts a month after they were bought

Well this was bad communication on both parts. If you can't ship something out till next year on Tuesdays only then you should post that in your original for sale d and make sure that the buyer is aware of this before he pays not days after.

The OP should have waited for the refund and given the seller time to make it right and refund the money.

While I agree, these had been for sale for a couple of weeks and I had no bites. When I PM'd him Wednesday night letting him know I'd ship by the weekend, he could have EASILY responded saying that was unacceptable and I would have refunded him immediately. However, Moe never responded to that PM.
