All,

Just a bit of advice on buying from DavidPHumes. He'll take your cash, then when you ask him about your item a few days after you pay him, he'll tell you he'll mail it out in a week. Once those 5 or so days go by, he'll write you telling you he can't find your stuff...and ask if you want to wait for him to find it or refund you. Don't waste your time with this guy. IF I happen to get my money back from him I'll let you know...but I have my doubts with this tool.

going through the same thing right now, i was supposed to have gotten new ls7 lifters from him by thursday and i still dont have them

thanks and good luck to you too, i told him i was going to file a claim with paypal a few hours ago and that got his attention pretty fast. he said i should have them wednesday. im giving him till then and then im filing a claim with paypal and i dont care what he says

Going threw the same thing with "luke1834". Bought a set of HS roller rockers and he said he sent them out which was two weeks ago but I haven't received them. ******* people need to stop ripping honest people off...If he corrects it I have no problem eating my words, but havent heard anything back and everytime I ask for a tracking number he says he doesnt have one blah blah

I just got an email from the guy. He somehow thinks this is funny. He also blames the situation on his shop being full of parts and boxes??? Anyone here sell stuff without knowing where the hell it is????????

I really hope nobody here is using this guys 'shop'. I'm sure he's selling your **** and putting junk yard parts on your car.

I don't car if its a spark plug! Its the point. You took my money for something you had for sale. You never mentioned you weren't sure where it was in your post. Had I known you would take a week to ship 'if' you could find it. You would have never had the sale!!!!!!!!!!!!

By the way, dirtymoe77 sent payment on 1/9/2012. I told him I would ship by the weekend (via PM here) and when I went to do that (as it's still the weekend...) I realized I couldn't find his box. Pretty simple actually.

Thank you for the refund. You don't know what your doing to be totally honest. I'm mad, your right. But your the reason. If you can't ship **** for a week or more. You need to post that. If you don't know where the item is. Post that as well. Then people won't be wondering what the hell is going on.

i know i talked to you about it but to hear someone else is having another issue it worries me, i have have been screwed two times before and im sick of it. if i get my lifters then i have no problem leaving positive feedback but until then im just going to have to think im not getting my parts.

You are correct...2 DAYS AFTER I ASKED YOU IF YOU GOT MY PAYMENT. The 9th was a Monday. You got back to me on Wed. that you got the payment and then said you could ship on the weekend. Honestly, by Wed. I would have hoped that they were already in the mail! Then Sunday night at 10:30PM you ask if I want a refund??????????????????

I am not a business, Moe. I don't make my living selling $35 valve covers to ethugs. I'm sorry, but I had other things going on this week and while shipping your valve covers were important, I knew I would likely need to defer shipment until the weekend, which is why I told you that. I don't know if you're just thick skulled or what, but this is a pretty black and white situation that you're really blowing out of proportion. I have literally sold HUNDREDS of things on the Internet and have never had someone upset or feel like they got scammed. You have my name and number, why not just call me instead of posting up a slanderous thread on here?

You told me that AFTER I had to ask about them---thats the wrong way to go about it. You should have proactively emailed me saying you got the payment but that you wouldn't be shipping out for 7 DAYS! No wait for me to ask you!

You put something up for sale that your not sure where they are ---thats wrong

You think shipping something almost a week after getting someones money is no big deal cause its only $35 --thats wrong

I'm done with this. Buyer beware...thats it....ASK QUESTIONS

honestly you could of put a little more trust in the guy you have 30 days to file a claim with paypal and you didnt even give this guy a week, and yes in shops things do get misplaced I know this.

and yes the seller could of had things a bit more organized as well, but it seems like you gave him no chance, he offered to pay you back at the first sign of not being able to mail the items out on time, you didnt want the refund you wanted the part but then you didnt give him time to get them out. take a chill pill man
