i don't... it's still in the car, but i just bit the bullet and have a 6spd on the way... so i don't have a use for it any longer. its a simple install. very easy.

well i had a bung on my oil pan that the fitting screw right into... it's just a generic standard pipe thread size... you could tap the pan, or get a 'T' fitting and have it pick up the temp of the oil going into the trans cooler, or coming out of it.

My new tranny has a truck pan with a drain plug.. Ill just do something with that when I get a temp unit...

yeah, i doubt it much matters where its placed, but with the auto the trans temp is an absolute MUST
