Trans is at RPM. Anyone know who this guy is? He hasn't answered my PM's. If he sold me a non-working transmission that had to be sent to RPM, and he advertised it as absolutely flawless with ZERO issues. There is a problem here.
I'll let RPM be the judge as to what was actually wrong with it, but I didn't even get to put it into gear.

EDIT: Just caught the date from the day it was sold to the next post.

Update. I feel like a jerk-off now, but I've been ripped off by Rock-On Transmission, and then from another board member on a T-56. So I think I jumped to conclusions. At least I didn't go too far overboard.
The problem and noise was coming from the converter. Before I bought this, the guy said he put a new filter in it. The only thing that RPM said was that this could have caused it to be low on fluid. So they freshened up the 3/4 bands and put a new filter in it for a very reasonable price. Kudos to RPM Transmissions for their patience.
That being said, I bought the converter in the box in factory enclosed packaging (never opened) with a packing slip as rebuilt from Yank. So now to contact Yank and/or the person who sold me that! Can't catch a break these days.
