Default RARE Catback!!! ATR T-304 PITBULL **PICS / Video**

Category: Engine - Exhaust
Price: $400
Location (State): FL
Item Condition: Used
Shipping Information: Item Can be Shipped
LS Engine?: Fits LS Engine

I am going to be taking the catback off because my turbo build has a 5" DP that will be dumped out near the front wheel. That's the only reason I want to sell this catback. I have owned 5 LS1 F-bodys and have has atleast 10 different exhaust combinations, probably closer to 15. The ATR was my favorite, followed by Borla. I still own both and the ATR is currently installed as the Borla collects dust next to a B&B Triflow (these will be listed for sale soon)

If you have been in the LS1 or GN world for awhile, you'll remember the ATR pitbull exhaust systems. Super high Quality, complete T-304 Stainless, and one of the best flowing mufflers made. This exhaust is in very good condition throughout. All pipes, including the I-pipe, and the muffler (exception of the tips) I would rate in atleast 9 out of 10. The muffler is polished but has a lot of fine scratches and scrapes so if I were you I would re-polish it before putting it on. You cannot see the muffler on a Firebird but on a Camaro it is visable from ground level and looks great with a mirror polish. I have brand new polished tips (3.5" rolled) that are included (but not welded on). The current tips have some scrapes and in all reality I would replace them while the system is off. The I-pipe will be cut as close to the Y-pipe junction as possible (welded)....keep in mind I have Pacesetter LTs so you might need a small section of pipe depending on your set-up.

ATR went out of business years ago (maybe 2002?) but made some EXCELLENT catbacks for GN /GNX, Supras, LS1s, RX-7s and a few other cars. All were extremely high quality and extremely high flowing and made out of complete T-304 stainless. The muffler is very straight through design (see pic) and will out flow just about anything out there except cut-out style exhausts (Borla) or bullet style systems.

If you look at my last pics of the muffler you can see how the I-pipe flows in a straight line through the muffler to the driver's side tailpipe, remaining exhaust that enters the muffler slits will exit the passenger tailpipe. The muffler doesn't Y or split inside....just straight.

Shipping (w or w/o insur) is paid by the buyer, local pick-up is great (Tampa).

I decided to make a video clip since it was (strongly) suggested in my last post.

Nice ad, Id pick it up myself, but while the engine is out money is being allocated to the front of the car. Should sell quick, GLWS.

My TA came with the non polished version of this exhaust and I love it. It's mellow at idle and while cruising, but fairly aggressive sounding at WOT but not hash sounding in any way. I had to dig pretty deep to find any threads on this exhaust but they all said that it flows like a ****. Would it be possible to take a picture of the mufflers inlet showing how straight through it is to the drivers side outlet, I only ask because I'm curious and who ever put my exhaust on tack welded the tail pipes on.

I can take a pic of the muffler tomorrow...it is unique in design compared to anything else I have seen.

Quite a few PMs but everyone "wants a deal". I am not interested in making a deal, my asking price is EXTREMELY reasonable and a DEAL as it is. This is a high end COMPLETE T-304 system in very good to excellent condition. This is a RARE catback that almost never comes up for sale.

Still for sale!
