well ill tell you the most important thing which is that im in brownsville, texas engine has been in the family since 2005 maybe or 2006, one cousin had it then another since 2007 to 2008 then ive had it till now has less than what it shows 155440 was swaped like 2 years ago from the original silverice metallic transam i had an accident in october 6 of 2009 then did the swap like on 2010 when i bought my bpm ta dont remember haha maybe around august, defenately not more than 160k miles with all ive run it i guarantee.

has had the head gaskets replaced new (when it wasnt mine)

then...

has had one bottom engine rebuild of new CRANKshaft ' i run it with lil oil ' Not camshaft, you can talk to mechanics all that have worked on them and my family aswell know all history,

then it overheated and had fixed heads milled cutted cleaned both resurfaced well the head gaskets replaced new and headers gaskets too and installed longtubes, this engine is like semi NEW! and im about to install a baby cam for daily drive cruising, has open headers rigth now, and well one coil is either bad or has a loose screw on adapter of spark plug because i didnt notice any signs of bad coil pack before it overheated

aaahahaaha yeah i ran it less than a mile with little amount of oil inside the motor

yeah well one time i was about to put oil and then on my way to store it stoped, so then a mechanic went for it and he turned it back on but it still had the lil knock on it, it was driveable but decided to open the engine to fix it completely from everything it needed, payed 1,100 for parts and labor, brand new crankshaft and metal U's

something bad happend but at same time its like semi new and more with all boltscrews new and head/headers gaskets

trade you everything complete engine/drivetrain & transmission with rear! i dont want to break mine in the future so it be worth the trade you tell me what you wanna work out

That's a lot cash my friend. Just the fact that it'll take 6 months to get the rear end is a lot of cash lol. PM me your offer and what all you have

Im just thinking out loud here

LQ4 - $3000
4L80 w/jake pro brake and BWHE frictions etc/4500 billet verter - $3000
MWC 9" 31 spline 4.11, TA, mounts and LCA's - $3000

98 LS1 - $2000
4L60/stock verter - $800
10 bolt - $500

Quite a big price gap. I literally just put $1000 in the 80 for all new borg warner frictions, kolene steels, all new bushings, billet input shaft, and it needed a new forward drum.

Yes a 10 bolt can live very well behind an auto. You will run in to some issues once you start making a lot of power or put a brake on it. But in reality the auto will always be easier on the rear than a manual.

yeah true, but like i said i think i will be ok with my 10 bolt, do you consider it ok? i saw a 9'' moser for $1800 last night to be honest and some trickflow heads for $2,000 with fastintake&tb90 for $800 and also considering an engine swap plus i offered him $2,000 its a 402, what size is your lq4?

Yea, like I said, it'll be fine if its in good condition. You have to remember when buying other rear ends that you still need to buy a torque arm and ds loop, that's why the mwc beats all IMO, plus it's a hair heavier than the 10 bolt.

All the other 9" rears are about 30-40lbs heavier than the 10 bolt. Mwc is fabricated rear end. This setup is a daily/street setup. Needs more cam IMHO, something like a 240/248.

I have no idea what a tsunami cam is...off to research

I'm not exactly sure what you need a price for...I listed the relative prices of what we both have up above.

That tsunami looks like a nice cam but Im not a fan of LSK lobes for daily's. To much wear and tear on the springs.

Good looking out, but I kind of figured that out any way based on what he was saying. Plus there's no way $1800 is gonna cover all my stuff for stock parts. INSANE. Free bumps anyway though right
