It's a 98 motor. I was told it was pulled from a wrecked car with 48k. Still ran great.
I AM NOT PARTING IT OUT OR SPLITTING ANYTHING UP
Comes with everything in the picture.
intake to oil pan! It has injectors, fuel rails, water pump, wiring harness, throttlebody, T56 flywheel, EGR, etc...
The oil pressure sensor is broke. There is no Alt. I do have a power steering pump off my 99 I will include.
Someone made a comment that 98’s have thinner walls. 98'a do have a thinner wall.
We have gone DEEP into the 9's on a 100% stock bottom end 98. Just heads, cam, and nitrous.
This setup is prefect for a swap as it includes the wiring harness. I don't think many people would be looking at this motor as a race motor... But I see no problem in throwing heads and a big cam in this motor and making close to 500 to the wheels. The block is far from the weakest point on these motors. My race motor I am build is an aluminum Ls1 block that I hope to make 1,000RWHP with.
The thin walls will not affect you unless you are trying to push 1000+ IMHO....
I will ship. But you have to set it all up and pay for it. Frieghtquote.com i have used before. Can take it to my work which has a loading dock. Will just strap it to a pallet. 60642 is the zip.
I'm located in Chicago about 10 mins east of O'hare.
Sold as is, it is a used motor.
