The rear pulley that normally runs the A/C has been replaced with a 28 tooth high toque drive pulley. The hub is also one solid piece instead of a separate pulley that bolts to the hub like the standard y-body configuration. The hub part number is 916033A, which keeps the same main accessory alignment as the C5/C6, but essentially does away with A/C in exchange for a pulley to run a dry sump or vacuum pump.
You could cut the GM bracket if you'd like. The listing includes the bracket that came with it and an extra fitting to mount the reservoir remotely if necessary. The particular bracket aligns with y-body dampers.
