Probably not much, it's just what was recommended to me for my h/c/I build. I don't think it will hurt anything.

At that power level you will be fine with the 10% UD, but as you get to higher power levels ATI recommends to go to with 0% UD. They even make a 25% UD but they don't recommend it either on high HP applications.
