LS9 long block with cut crank snout wet sump operation. Ported heads. your choice cam
Category: Engine - Complete Motors
Price: $10000
Part Fits: 2010+ Camaro, 93-02 Chevrolet Camaro, 93-02 Pontiac Firebird, Corvette, 04-06 Pontiac GTO, 04+ Cadillac CTS-V
Location (State): CA
Item Condition: Brand New
Shipping Information: Item Can be Shipped
Engine: LS2/LS3/LS7/L92/LS9, LS1/LS6
LS Engine?: Fits LS Engine
LS9 ZR1 block bored to 4.070" with torque plates (billet main caps, piston squirters, 130 ft/lb of torque for head bolts!)
LS9 crank with cut snout for wet sump operation (std/std journals)
LS9 Pankyl Titanium rods rebushed with Katech bushings and ARP bolts
RaceTec forged pistons (10:1 compression with LS9 heads)/rings setup for boost and pistons checked for clearance with squirters (I have made 1400hp with these pistons)
Calico coated main/rod/cam bearings
Lingenfelter ported LS9 heads with dual .650" lift springs, upgrades exhaust valves and factory Ti intake valves that flow 350cfm+, rocker arms with new BTR trunion bearings
LS9 head gaskets, ARP head bolts (torque to 130 ft/lbs), LSA valve covers, no coil packs
****your choice of BTR camshaft (hydraulic)**** ($300 credit if you have your own)
LS7 GM performance lifters (or you can opt for Johnson 2116 link bar lifters (add $400))
BTR pushrods
your choice of Melling oil pump, IWIS timing chain, LS3 style front cover, new rear cover.
no oil pan, pickup tube or windage tray (I can supply if needed), no blower or accessories
everything has ZERO miles on it since rebuild. I have the shortblock assembled and just need to install cam/lifters/heads which are also done. Could ship within 1 week after camshaft arrives. I always build a proper crate and it WILL arrive safely with insurance.
$10K plus shipping
*** the main reason why this is desirable is the heads can be torqued down to 130 ft/lbs which is 50 ft/lbs more than any other factory GM block plus the billet main caps and piston squirters are a bonus. The LS9 block is also cast from a better grade aluminum and like the LSA heads they are rotocast with better grade aluminum as well. I made around 1400hp flywheel with a similar motor for 3 years and NEVER lost a head gasket. 88mm turbo on $2 e85.
I can accept CC; however you pay 3% fee

Thx Duramax
to the top! Want big power but not ready for a 6 bolt block? This will support 1100-1200rwhp on a good tune/fuel.
There are plenty of ZR1 owners making 800rwhp on a stock shortblock and then spraying 250hp nitrous shots as many bottles as they can fill. Turbos are much softer on parts so that was my choice for this combo.
