I'l just looking for the nose (the gear end that connects to the engine) of a ls1 starter. Mine got mangled but the internals are still good. If someone were to take their old dead starter and ship me the front end, I'd be much obliged. I'd rather not pay for the shipping of the entire starter motor since I only need part. I would definitely be willing to pay shipping.

Yep you want the nose cone. I have one if you need it. I wont be home till monday though to get a pic or have it shipped out. PM me if your interested

I do have broken LS1 starter but the body of sterter is good shape...check on my sig..
