WTB: 01 or 02 LS1 or LS6 heads
We're pulling my heads off to replace some parts after a nasssssssssssty over-rev, so my father put the nasty thought of just getting new heads, or re machining the ones that are on the car which I don't want to do.
I'm lookin for less money spent as I'm in college and broke-***, so please be gentle! And pardon me as I dont know a whole lot about the different heads on the different years, but I do know that 01-02 T/A was different then 98-00 and thus the reason I want either 01 or 02's... or LS6's....
Yeaa....

I'm not sure if there was a big difference between the 853's(early LS1) and the 241's(late LS1).... the ones you would want would be 243's(LS2/LS6)...
If you really don't care I might have the heads ripped off of my 00' Z28 later this week, if i do take them off you can have them with valves and springs on them (stock). Thats only if I end up getting some 243's.
You might just wanna go ahead and get 243's.. check out the sponsors deals on them.

I have a set of 243 castings. They are off of my 2002 zo6. they are fully assembled heads with the sodium filled valves and yellow behive stock valve springs on a zo6. $500
