So here's the deal, I recently bought an ls6 project off of a woman who's husband had passed away before he had completed the engine. I've got the block, heads, crank, water pump, oil pan and a few other usable parts but it seems the rest of the engine was either not put together, or more likely hauled off with a 55 Chevy the old fellow had dropped a stroked ls6 into.

So there's my sob story (as pithy as I can make it). I need all the little stuff to complete this engine. Including the front, rear and valley covers, the timing gears and chains, the balancer, all sensors, a wiring harness, coil brackets, lifters and lifter brackets, and probably a dozen or so things I can't think of at the moment.

I have an ls2 intake and comp cams springs W. retainers to trade and of course cash.

I'm wondering if there is any one near the 714 who has an engine with a damaged block or pistons that I can harvest parts from, I've been buying parts piece by piece but the has to be a quicker way.
