Default looking for 01 F body V8 PCM
Looking for a PCM to an 01 F body, any trans is OK but must be a 01 so my HP tuners still works.

i am pretty sure HPtuners/efilive and other such tuning tools
are locked to the serial number of the PCM not the actual year or style.

Nope, I am under the old system where I am allowed to program any 01 F body. I can do as many cars as I want to but just limited to year/body.
