well its not my car its my friends but here is the deal. i have an SLP MAF but im not doing internals on my car. i took it off and just used ported ends. now he is going to most likely do the top end, heads and cam and intake, question is should be buy it from me or just get ported ends? what would be the best for power and dollar, but remember he is gonna get it cheaper than slp sells it lol

if the car's PCM was designed for a 75 mm MAF do not install a 85 mm for the MAF table for the 75 starts at a higher output frequency where a 85 mm MAF outputs starts at a lower freq and those lower values cannot be compared in MAF lookup table and causes PCM to switch to MAP mode.
Also stock 75 mm MAF supports up to 750 CFM and most engines only require a max of 650 CFM so engine does not need any more air, it does need more fuel in most cases.
