program for ecm E40 to run 4l80e trans help Hi guys my problem is , i have a gto , which had the 6lt ls2 engine the ecm =E40 ecm . the trans comp = t42 tcm which runs the 4l65e transmission.We have installed the 4l80e trans and now we need the operating system to run this trans . is there any trucks that have the ls2 comp running with the 4l80e your help is essential
What software are you using for tuning? If EFILive, you need to find a tune with the same os number from some place like holdencrazy.com and just do a trans segment swap with a tune that has a 4l80. If you have HPTunners, you have to email them your tune for them to do the segment swap for you.

I have researched and have decided to use an external tcm . which would be the best for my system , i read about PCS and tci and compushift . Which one would best suite my application Please help , any costings also thanks.
