No, the speedo issue is not going to have that much effect on your mileage, as long as the engine is going closed loop and seems to be running ok.
However, when the speedo/odo is way off, it can be difficult to calculate the mileage!

Thats because more than likely, your odometer is going at the rate of your speedometer. As you can see, this would cause the distance you've traveled to seem like 100 miles, but its probably ~200 miles. Judging by how far you say it is off. However, I could be wrong.. *shrug*

Josh, i kinda got to thinkin like that....but that makes sense. lol. this is my car we are talkin about. The TCS wont work and i didnt even touch it. lol i have been surrounded by GREMLINS. Lots or work for saturday. GHOSTBUSTING!

Ditto to the demons. Murphys law. Is the 12 bolt in yet? Are you getting any codes? Does your ABS still work? Who needs TCS anyways
It has been useful in the rain, but even then.. I try not to drive my car in the rain if I can help it. Assuming that I could actually drive my car, seeing as how its been on jackstands for 2 months.
