WHAT CHANGES WHEN THE MOTOR GETS WARM Here is the scoop. I have had lots of problems with my car. Now i have been stuped on whats going on. But recently a new problem has developed. As soon as the car gets hot. she becasue a dog and starts backfireing and hesitating. But if i go hope in my car when its cold she runs like a monster with no problems. Is this just a tunning issue. Or somthing else.
P.S- On a side not how much does it cost for dyno tunning. She needs lots of attention. And does any one know any places in NY that does that..

Re: WHAT CHANGES WHEN THE MOTOR GETS WARM hummm.. The only sensor that is not a stock new part are the bosch o2 sensors that i got. I wondeer if they are messing up my car. Has anyone had any problems with them.

Re: WHAT CHANGES WHEN THE MOTOR GETS WARM We did use a-tap. The only thing we saw was that the car is running very rich. The ltft are 15 and the o2s are being pegged and 990.However any changes we make (taking fuel away) just makes the car run worse. Somthing is messed up on my car.
Re: WHAT CHANGES WHEN THE MOTOR GETS WARM One of your sensors is probably bad causing the PCM to miscalculate how much fuel to inject. If you have a buddy with a car like yours, you could compare sensor readings and swap them with his until you find out which one it is.

Re: WHAT CHANGES WHEN THE MOTOR GETS WARM Almost all the sensor are new. EXCEPT the map sensor. O well im taking her off the road next week so ill just worrie about it this winter. Thanks for your help. Now to try and save up money for a differnt computer system with a widband set up...thats what i want for chirstmas santa.
