Default Cannot Pass Security Codes

My friends 02 Camaro Has a heads cam setup. I was tuning it but just did not have the ability to spend quality time with it so we opted for a cookie cutter tune from texas speed. After we got it back the vehicle will no longer let me scan or read the PCM. I called Texas Speed and they said they do not lock the computers and to try reinstalling the latest version of Hp Tuners. I tried that and it did not work. I was wondering if anyone had suggestions as to why security codes are denied? We missed out on some good dyno time when this happened and I am hoping to be able to access it to get everything fine tuned by spring.

yea everything worked fine before. The only difference was we removed the computer to send it out and reinstalled it. Now it does not pass security codes.

Invalid authorization code generally means the file has been tunerlocked or the seed/key has been changed from stock.

By having the original tuner set the seed/key back to stock or unlock the pcm whichever the case.

I know this might sound overly simple... but when i first got EFI Live i couldn't scan or read... figured it was locked or something... ended up being the cigarette lighter fuse...
