It is programmed as a 2002 corvette, DBW, manual trans. I told the tuner it would have a TH400, and to remove all transmission related programming. He replied that he set it up as a manual. Could be a problem if set up as a manual corvette? Would still have the VSS i bet

I'm wondering the same thing..
Just because the "tuner" programmed the PCM as a manual trans, does not mean the PCM is not looking for a VSS signal....

All transmission related components are supposedly turned off, including the vehicle speed sensor. What do people do when running a TH400 behind a LS1 motor? I know it is possible for the PCM to completely ignore the trans and VSS signal, but it is possible that the programmer has done something incorrectly. I will try to get him to email me his tune, maybee i can forward it to one of you guys to look at? Thanks again for all the help everyone. This just affirms my decision to purchase tuning software for myself, it would make predicaments like this much easier and at my fingertips.
