Trouble with Vengeance tuning thread gone
A member had them tune is car. He said had +18 LTFT trims. The turner said this was OK. Why was this deleted? I would like to know what happened. Vengeance is this how you tune? Please post up.

That makes two times that thread has been deleted, once from this section and once from the sponsor feedback. I bet this thread will make it 3 for 3.
Does Vengeance pay more sponsor money to have there bad publicity removed? I've seen at least one other thread that went bad for them completely removed.
I understand that LS1tech likes the income but where do you draw the line?

How do some of you tune? I know my tuner did the leg work which I hear and I have seen 95% don't.
My guy disconnected the MAF and did some driving to get the VE tables done and spent 2 days tuning the car. To top it off he charges the same as others. I have been in the boat where a company spends all of 1-2hrs on a car if that and calls it good.
I just wish tuners would take there time. I am going to get hptuners myself and spend a few days with my tuner. Seems there is a real lack of that around me.

Why waste time tuning when the customer doesn't know any better? Surely you don't think they'll find out what you've done eventually?
It's easy to change a few tables, charge $500, and think "the tune is right" because the customer doesn't bitch and moan about it or know any better.
Let's break down $500(average full tune price) and pretend we're using HPtuners and we have to buy credits each time.
-$100 credits for one car(most shops have unlimited license)
-$400 leftover
Wow! For a half-hour to an hour of work you could make a $400 profit. Yeah, there's also bills to be paid, but the point is shops who do the dyno and scoot method of tuning are making a ton of money from very little work.

Lol... Rest assured we are a 100% legit company. Accountants/QuickBooks/Taxes and all I appreciate the kind threat to our livelyhood though.
Guys, This was a bad situation. The customer and Vengeance have worked it out and the customer is getting a refund and will have someone tune his car locally to him. I dont feel enough time was spent on his car to make it right and obviously the customer doesnt either.
We arent perfect guys... We do make it right when we can when we do screw up though.
BTW, the LS1Tech ***** didnt delete the threads... Mark wanted a resolution and he got one. We both agreed that the posts would lead to nothing productive and we can all move along.
Have a great New Year everyone.
