Default How much timing

How much timing should I be running in my motor? Attached is my high octane main spark vs. air mass vs. RPM open throttle table. I was just wondering if i needed to add or remove spark from anywhere in the table. Thanks

Have you made any adjustments to your stock values? Are you getting any KR*?

Naturally aspired LS1's like between 23*-27* @ WOT. Adjust from 3,000 rpm-max rpm, and cyl airmass of .60 to 1.00 g/cyl. This section is where you want to make adjustments to your timing. If not using a dyno/track you can adjust by using the following. Increase timing in this area by 2*+ increments only. Watch for any KR* using your scanner after uploading new tune. If any KR*, -1* at a time until you have removed all KR*.

If you're going to plagiarize at least cite your source.

Why would I adjust it from 3,000 on up and .60-1.0 g/cyl? Are you saying that it would make it run better if I adjusted between those numbers?

That's your WOT zone for cylinder airmass.

Looking at your sig, you have an LS6? Chances are 22-23 degrees of timing is all you need at WOT but YMMV(your move may vary). The best way to find out is get on that dyno or get to the track. Several others including myself have found that the 243 heads don't need much timing to make power.
