Default How to remove timing with HPT?

I have HPT, want to pull some timing out because nitrous is going on the car. What table do I need to go into specifically what part or section is the WOT part? Could some one post up a picture of the table and wot part selected. Or do I need to pull timing from the whole table?

It would be your High & Low Octane spark tables that need to be adjusted

WOT generally is over .60 g/cyl and can go all the way up to or past the tables max depending on the combination.

Okay I understand now so I will pull timing from idle to 8000 above .60. I attached pic to make sure I understand.

to an extent yes, you will notice in your vcm scanner that your g/cyl will look more like a curve though, you don't just hit .64 g/cyl at 1200 rpms and then carry to 6500 rpms, they will gradually go up until around peak tq & then drop off slightly over peak tq.

Using your histograms to determine what cell(s) you will be in is the most accurate way.

I know some guys are putting their nitrous nozzle in front of their maf and spraying across the IAT sensor. If you do this you can leave full timing in your high and low octane tables and retard the timing in the low temperature region of the IAT spark adjustment table.

i made a relay setup that when the nitrous is armed, it changed the IAT to read 130 something degrees. Then i went in the tables on HP tuners, and took all of the values for 130 degrees and subtracted the timing. That way the car runs great NA as well as on spray.

the transition time is too high; see Pink King's post for a better approach

Okay I seem to understand more now that I looked at a pass on a scan file. WOT I am .56-.68 1200-6000. So there I would remove timing from the High and low spark table at that range correct.
