diablo wot for stock engine?
G-Tech units. They were being blown out on eBay
a while back, since the new ($$$) model is out.
This and an open piece of Interstate will let
you tune by acceleration-G-at-speed, at least.
I got one for like $40?
I've never gotten a good answer to this basic
question and asked many times. My gut feeling is
that you're best off at an O2 voltage (stock) of
about 910mV +/-10mV and as much spark as will not
give you steady KR on your WOT runs. So the drill
would be to baseline stock acc-G reading at 70MPH
in second (near 5KRPM), baseline the acc-G with
the Predator tune in, and then push your fuel to
the right mixture (by O2s and hope that 910mV =
12.8:1 AFR) and then creep the spark up until
WOT starts showing KR for more than one time-tick
and back off 1-2 percent.
Currently at +10% spark and +3% PE myself. The
spark makes a big difference to part-throttle
feel and is very sensitive to mixture & engine
temp air & water tamps, as to how much you can
take.
There isn't really a "magic recipe" here because
what you bolt on can make a big WOT tuning
difference. Cut & try, ideally with some sort of
performance measurement based feedback.
