I looked at a "stock" definition file, it definitely is there. TC has it as two tables (I changed mine to one 2X3 table). The tables in Tunercat are under Transmission Tables, and are labeled "TCC release Speed Vs Gear" and "TCC Apply Speed Vs Gear". No matter what the conditions are the TCC will lock or unlock at the speeds listed in those tables. Most other tuners I talk to call it WOT because the TCC will be locked anyway before the MPH listed there if not WOT. It's difficult to tell if/when a stock TC locks at those speeds, a loose converter shows it right up.

In the transmission calibration file, or "segment" as some call it. You can access it if your tuning software has it. Nothing secret about it. Only 2000 & older calibrations use that table. I have not found it in an '01 or newer cal.

i wonder if this is something that could help my converter lock? i cant get it to lock on the highway at all?

I believe if you go back and read what I posted, 2001 and later models do not have a seperate table for that.

As I mentioned before, 1987 through 2000. 2001 and later trucks is all in the normal TCC lock & release tables. You change those at the higher throttle angles. Very simple.

well...
I used the new adjusted tune after completing segment swaps of each section...
still locks in 2nd and 3rd...
going to try it again with segment swaps on everything EXCEPT transmission sections...then copy & paste on transmission tables...
If that doesn't work...then I'll try it w/o segment swaps and doing table by table conversions...
we'll see...

You did raise the MPH in the normal, performance hot an cruise apply and release tables at high TPS, didn't you? I didn't do that part for you. I only did the table to which you did not have access.
