Default 99 pcm in a 2001?

Will it work? I shipped out a customers pcm to get tuned and I have one off a 99 sitting in the shop. Will the 99 work in the 2001 car? Both are six speeds. Thanks.h

The tune is different for a 99/2000 car and a 2001/2002 car due to the different cam, intake, and lack of EGR on the 2001/2002, but the hardware is compatible.

Just to move it around the shop...yeah, but the injectors are a different size, and the spark and ve tables are pretty different...I wouldn't do much more than let it idle and move it with barely any throttle.

It will work but the tuner has to burn the right vin into it IFF the customer has a OBD2 inspection.

Thanks guys. I tried it but it wouldn't even idle or run for more than 3 seconds.
