another question, if not calibrate the gears is there any chance for the service light to come on? cus that happened n then gears wer calibrated and light went off. but i got also a bad 02, actually both sides. can i reset that and then wait to see if the sensor comes on again?

Gears shouldn't set any SES codes. When the pcm was tuned for the gears the codes were probably erased with the re-flash. They will come back...

The bad O2s are prob what threw the code. You can go to autozone or advance and have them read it to see what error codes are coming up. The reason for the tune as mentioned is to let the computer know that youre running a different gear ratio. If left alone it will screw with your speedo and (i think) odometer. If its an auto it will also mess with the shift points because your mph will be off. I dont think places charge a full tune price for just a gear change though. It would be something you would want to call and ask around, or find someone who has hptuners to do it in a few min.

When I had my sensors go bad I got some bosch 13111's they have a 1 year guarantee...Worst case scenario they go bad in a year and a half you buy another set and just sell the extra on here...
