Default Xfi FAst questions..

Ok have hptuners and was going to go to 3 bar this season but now thinking to maybe go to fast XFi. But can't seem to find clear answers to some of my questions on the fast website..

So it simply plugs into existing harness it appears. One thing I like is the new traction control feature advertised. So anyone have this and how good does it work in high power 800rwhp type of setup like mine? My car has no traction control and was thinking of external one but its annoying to install and pricey.

I assume it can do 3 bar tuning no problem. Does it have any built in two step or antilag for my turbos? Can I still use my eboost 2 boost controller with it. Can I use my interceptor scan gauges with the fast xfi will I get normal data .Will I still get normal gm codes with the fast xfi or does it give only its own specific codes? Can dealership scan my car with the xfi in there?
What does it have for nitrous. Do I still need to use an external window switch, can it do progresive nitrous?
Can it run low impedence injectors without an add on box?
Can it control my 4l80e transmission like hptuners can do if I send file to hp to modify for my 4l80e conversion?
Is it fairly easy to tune things on the fast..air, fuel , tranny, etc. How userfriendly is this thing? How good are the forums . I find hptuners but not super user friendly.

Will I be able to get my car working pretty much right away. Can you see misfires with fast xfi don't think can see them once go to 3 bar on the hptuners.

most of your questions would be answered by going to the fast website and reading about it. it has 4 stage nitrous control, and uses tps and rpm to activate. it has no transmission control, you have to get the tci controller. it has a 2step built in, and you can use your existing one. you can not scan it with the scanner, it cannot piggyback with the stock ecm. you need its own harness. it can handle 4 low impedance injectors or 8 high, or need an add on box to run 8 low. i believe you can use all your gauges you have now, as long as you wire them up.

The FAST does not need a box to control low impedance injectors. It will run 8 low impedance injectors fine. Not sure if it'll do 16 lows, but I know it'll do 16 highs.

With a FAST harness, it has to be used as a standalone. There are a couple of companies that make a piggyback harness for integration to allow your stock computer to run stuff the FAST won't (gauges for example).
