Default Truck won't go WOT after 80E swap

What up guys? I posted up in the trans section about the trans not shifting correctly and losing reverse. I'm thinking we can fix or replace the trans, but the truck not taking WOT is a whole'nother issue. The truck ran fine prior to the 80E swap which included a lot of other little work here and there. I belive my buddy said before connecting the Speed sensor, the truck would go WOT, but wouldn't shift out of second gear. After connecting the speed sensor to pins 22/23, the truck would nearly die at WOT, but haul *** with anything less than full throttle. I know we could disconnect the wires we just hooked up, but then it won't shift out of 2nd. The computer was tuned for the 80E(by Nelson Performance). This thing is rediculous at WOT - if you floor it from a dead stop, it will sputter and putt its way up to maybe 20mph at less than idle rpms.
Could these things possibly be the culprit:
1.Open exhaust - we had to temporarily remove the exhaust just past where the gutted cats are due to crossmember clearance. Maybe the O2 sensors are getting too much air? (I'm just guessing).

2.Could we have crossed the wires up...as in the wire in 22 really needs to be in 23?

3.Are the pinouts the same for his 1999 versus a newer model?

Check your power power going to the trans. It will keep the trans in 2nd and enable limp mode, giving you poor acceleration. I know this from experience.
