Rear defroster trouble
There were a few posts about this last year and I believe it had something to do with the 40-amp relay in the engine compartment. It will also affect your power seats at the same time.
I will do the search and see what I come up with.
You will find the 30 amp breaker for the defroster and electric seat in the fuse box in the dash by the driver's door

It will shut itself off in 10 mins via the timer in the system.
Just don't move your power seat to it's end with the defroster on or you'll blow a fuse.
This is how GM bootlegged the defroster/power seat system with a circuit breaker.
Being that the breaker senses a current overload by heat, it trips it for an set ammount of time til it cools down and reconnects.

The defroster shuts off after 10 min. with the fuse (the way it is suppose to do). I was also able to move my seat while the defroster was on with no trouble, but, just in case and have a box of 30 amp fuses in my glove box for insurance.
