I think that is a safe way to approach it.
Just make sure you are scanning for detonation and if on the dyno someone is listenging for it.
You will need tuning if you are hitting it with at 150 shot. You will need to pull timing back. Your car stil has the high 28* from the factory, which is too much for a 150 shot in my opinion. I would drop that down to high teens, low 20's.
The rule of thumb is 2-3 deg per 50 shot. So you could probably get away with the 75 on the stock tune, but I would be careful any more then that.
