Absolutely right. Which brings another perk that EFI LIVE has and HPTuners doesn't.. Digital comms between a Wideband and the controller. HPTuners only has the option of a 5v analogue input. EFI LIVE has that as well as the more accurate serial data connection. Thats not just good for getting the most accurate data you can. Its also great with WB's like the LC1 where you can command the calibrations to be carried out right from the V2 interface.

You misinterpreted my response. If you read the posts, you'll understand that the response refers to choosing HP Tuners Pro over HP Tuners Standard edition specifically for the purpose of logging wideband data.

Seems like the general consensus is efilive. I need to get a program for my 6.0 soon.

I'd buy hptuners tomorrow if they would see the light and come out with something for LT1's.

I have been tuning my LT1 for about 4 months now with EFILive. Best thing that could of ever happened to my LT1!!! I am not saying that Tunercats for the LT1 ain't bad, but that tuning with EFILive and a Roadrunner PCM is the best!!!

After reading through the responses..... again, I did misinterpret it! Sorry about that. I am so used to these threads turning into bashing sessions for the different softwares avaliable, just got a little defensive I guess

Does EFI Live have a pro version that allows a person to tune LS1, and LT1's?

We have a group of about 5 F-bodies, but one of them is an LT1. We need the ability to wideband tune.

all efilive versions have analog inputs. You need them to tune, so you might as well include them in the hardware. (even the handheld tuners I use all have analog inputs in them)

you would have to run a ls1 pcm on that lt1 to tune it.

Like SLOW said, you would have to convert the LT1 car to LS1 electronics to be able to tune with EFILive or HPTuners. Go to EFI Connection and they can set you up there!!!
