If this is a new motor I would bring it to an experienced tuner to start it.A bad SD tune can quickly gas wash a motor and I doubt any tuner can mail order a good SD tune because they have to be precise.

I prefer EFI live but either softwares will do the trick.

AWESOME! That is what we have all been waiting for. one thing I have noticed about EFILive is their updates. they are constantly updating their software to tweak it to better fill the needs of their customers. I don't know if HPT is the same or not, so don't take this statement that way.

The Black Box Logging/Tuning, custom OS's, VVE, screen layout, trial version, and the openness of the EFILive crew to doing a Linux based version are the things that sold me on it. I have zero regrets spending the extra dough.
