Default Code P0343, how to go about a fix?

I had a very small cam installed (used LPE GT2) and some LS6 springs and now Im throwing the code P0343, camshaft position sensor voltage too high. Could installing the cam have damaged the sensor or caused the code to set? I drove the car like 350 miles without a code. Please let me hear all your input. Thanks,

Matt

change your camshaft position sensor, also check where your intake bolts down to make sure that no wires are pinched, also check the grounds on the cylinder heads.
